Chiyanti— pronounced She-Yahn-Tee—is who’s next in the world of music. The Brooklyn native is proving to be a multi-faceted powerhouse with no limits in terms of songwriting and producing. She is an award-winning songwriter and has been active in this for over a decade. Though she’s only been producing for under five years, she is a force to reckon with. The self-taught phenom is a body-positive advocate and plays a wide range of instruments including piano and furthering her development with the bass guitar, drums, and cello. “I take pride in being able to do everything.” Chiyanti is an epic merger of Lizzo, Cardi B, and Missy Elliott aiming to represent sexiness, women empowerment, and artistry. During the 2020 quarantine, Chiyanti built her following on social media in three months from 600 followers to 16K and counting through her debut R&B single, “Space.” She gained attention from K. Michelle, LL Cool J, Keke Palmer, Jessie Woo, Sway In The Morning, Ester Dean, Jazze Pha, Trae the Truth, and many others. Her second single, “Thangin’” was a viral hit among female listeners and with this, Chiyanti was featured as a semifinalist in Hot 97’s Destination to Summer Jam contest. Her country single, “Big Ole Wagon,” has amassed over 218K views on Facebook, over 107K on Twitter, and over 100K views on TikTok. Note: this all comes from organic traction. For this, Chiyanti was featured on Apple Music’s Color Me Country radio show. As the CEO and Founder of her own record label, Engrave Music Group (EMG), she manages and releases all her music.
